Finding images for class projects:
creative commons
It is important when using images in a project or paper to find pictures with a Creative Commons license. What is a Creative Commons license? This license allows creators to specifically state how they want their resource to be used, shared, and modified.
Resources:
Google Advanced Image Search - Use this link to search for images. Under "Usage Rights" be sure to check the appropriate option - most likely "Free to use or share."
Creative Commons Search - This site allows you to pick from various image databases to find license-free images for your use.
Flickr Creative Commons - Users on Flickr have uploaded their photos and tagged them for reuse.

Remember:
Remember:
- NEVER cite Google Images as your citation. Google is a search engine, not the website where the image was located.
- When citing ANY images, you must cite the website where you located the image, if it does not have specific image information listed.
