Public Health Issues
You will work with your group to create, present, and teach a lesson about your issue to the class. The goal is to convince them why your issue is one of major importance. In the end, the class will vote on the issue they feel should be the #1 concern to be addressed. It is your group’s goal to present a “winning” issue.
There are 3 parts to your research. You need to answer the following questions:
- What is your issue? Background information?
- Determine why this has become a public health issue. How is it affecting society?
- What is being done to improve the issue? Regulations, laws, Education, etc. (Research findings & give your opinion.)
Requirements:
- You must use one of each source: book, eBook or database, and website (from the approved list of websites.) A total of at LEAST 3 sources PER PERSON is required.
- You are responsible for creating a Works Cited page with all the resources that you used for this project.
- You must follow MLA guidelines
